Driver Bubble™ and FixiCover add 'Mercedes E-class' to the existing list of TFL approved vehicle protection screens
Driver Bubble™, the global market leader in vehicle partition screens, together with FixiCover announced the addition of 'Mercedes E-class' to the existing list of TFL approved vehicle protection screens. Driver Bubble™ has also partnered with American Carwash, a car washing company, to offer London-based customers and drivers a way to get their FixiCover TfL Shields installed professionally.
- (1888PressRelease) April 02, 2021 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands - The global market leader in vehicle partitions screens, Driver Bubble™, announced today that it has received approval from Transport for London, for the protection screen that fits Mercedes-Benz E-Class models.
Manufactured by FixiCover, this new version of the partition screen was also subjected to impact, light fire and chemical resistance tests to meet the legislative and automotive standards. The Driver Bubble™ FixiCover TfL Shield – Mercedes E-Class is a TfL-approved partition screen crafted from 1.5mm polycarbonate for all Mercedes E-Class W213 (2017-2021) models.

Therefore, it was only right for us to process the E-Class as the next vehicle for the inspection and TfL approval. After a close discussion with potential clients who have fleets of E-Classes, we wanted to understand their take on TfL approved screens for the E-Class, and the response was very positive." said Business Development Manager of Driver Bubble™, Will Cattrall.
Driver Bubble had to make one fundamental change to receive approval from TfL. The upper left and right corners of the screen have been replaced with a different, more flexible material so that side airbags can be deployed successfully in the event of collision or accident.

The vehicle was initially available on pre-orders only. However, it is now in stock and available. Driver Bubble™ has also partnered up with American Carwash, a car washing company, to offer London-based customers and drivers a way to get their FixiCover TfL Shields installed professionally.
