As the result of a specialized process "sputtering", an extremely thin metal coating of the Dream black out fabric guarantees optimum shading, water resistance and protection against UV rays. Dream Metal has also the characteristic of being antistatic hence reducing dust collection. Colours available: white, cream, light grey and black.
- (1888PressRelease) April 19, 2011 - The Resstende fabric collection has recently been enhanced by the addition of this revolutionary blackout fabric, that thanks to the special treatment of sputtering is exceptionally functional.
The metal coating of Dream Metal is extremely thin, only 20 nm, obtained through the bombardment by metal particles or ions. The metal atoms "condense" on the fabric surface creating a high quality metal film that causes no significant increase in fabric thickness or weight.
The special Dream Metal coating absorbs and reflects infrared and UV light rays, hence greatly reducing the indoor room temperature. And this is not all! Sputtering renders the fabric extremely resistant to humidity and guarantees greater resistance to UV deterioration. What's more the stainless steel coating is antistatic and therefore greatly reduces the deposit of dust and the risk of clogging the weave, hence guaranteeing circulation of the air through the fabric into the room over time.
Dream Metal is available in four colours: white, cream, light grey and black.
