She has returned to her hometown, Anchorage, with a mission to help the community that raised her by providing state-of-the-art healthcare.
Dr. Johnson completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina in 2007. She received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington in 2013 and completed her General Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Michigan in 2018.
Dr. Johnson has board certification in General Surgery and has completed a Society of Surgical Oncology accredited Breast Surgery Oncology Fellowship at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2019. This fellowship trained her in a multidisciplinary model that closely worked with all aspects of breast health and cancer including benign breast care, high risk assessment, medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetics, pathology, breast imaging, and oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Johnson is a member of several professional organizations including American Society of Breast Surgeons and Society of Surgical Oncology.
Dr. Johnson strives to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care to her breast cancer and general surgery patients.
