Dr. Opie has been working as the managing partner at E4 Bioscience since 2005. E4 Bioscience is a strategic consulting firm dedicated to exclusively supporting cannabis testing laboratories. In addition to his consultative roles, Dr. Opie is the editor of a renowned general reference textbook, Cannabis Laboratory Fundamentals. He has also delivered lectures for the cannabis laboratory sector as an invited speaker. Also, he is an active member of AOAC International - Cannabis Analytical Science Program committees, and a PJLA ISO 17025 lead assessor. Dr. Opie obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Molecular Genetics and Virology.
