Dr. Richard Pinson and Cynthia Tang Receive 2023 AHIMA Triumph Award
CDI Pocket Guide® recognized for its “significant contribution to the knowledge base of the HI field”
- (1888PressRelease) October 13, 2023 - BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Dr. Richard Pinson, MD, FACP, CCS, and Cynthia Tang, RHIA, CCS, founders of Pinson & Tang and authors of the popular CDI Pocket Guide®, were awarded the 2023 AHIMA Triumph Award during AHIMA23 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Given in the Influencer category, the Triumph Award honors the authors of the CDI Pocket Guide®, and recognizes the dramatic impact the publication has on the health information world. According to AHIMA, “The Influencer Award honors those individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to the knowledge base of the HI field by contributing to an insightful recent publication, building on the enduring tradition of the Edna K. Huffman Literary Award.”
