Dr. Pamela McCauley Celebrates Inventors Day with Women in STEM and Leadership Book Series
Dr. Pamela McCauley, engineer, entrepreneur, educator, and innovator, has launched a book series with CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Publishing to highlight the achievements of women in STEM and leadership.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) October 02, 2019 - Dr. Pamela McCauley, the 2019 Technologist of the Year for Women of Color in Technology Magazine, has commenced a book series to celebrate the achievements and advancements of women in STEM fields tiled the “Women of STEM: Innovation and Leadership Series”. A published author of several books and over 100 technical publications, Dr. McCauley’s series provides a publication platform for women to publish edited books and monographs containing novel STEM and leadership topics that disseminate knowledge and expertise while paving the way for future generations of women in STEM.
This year, Inventors’ Day falls on September 29, 2019. This observance puts the spotlight on the achievements of inventors from around the world, and how their inventions have impacted society and improved the quality of life on a global level. Dr. McCauley, founder of Transforming Your STEM Career, Inc hopes to put a focus on female innovators who have often gone unnoticed and unpublished with their advancements in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
“Scholarly publications are considered professional currency in STEM and academic communities. Many innovative and accomplished women have had difficulty gaining access to professional publishing opportunities in the scientific community and this series is designed to address that challenge,” says Dr. McCauley. “By celebrating the scientific achievements of women on a global scale, the message being conveyed is that women are making a significant impact in STEM fields and these outcomes should to be disseminated and celebrated as we inspire the next generation of women in STEM.”
The Women of STEM: Innovation and Leadership Series is now open for submission and a celebratory launched is scheduled for October 2019. “I am thrilled to be leading this groundbreaking Series focused on women in STEM and leadership.
