Dr. Laurence Stone Chairs 25th Anniversary Valley Forge Dental Conference
Doylestown-based cosmetic and general dentist Laurence Stone, DDS, MAGD has been chosen to chair the 25h Anniversary Valley Forge Dental Conference in March.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2011 - Laurence Stone, D.D.S., M.A.G.D., with a Doylestown-based practice in Cosmetic and General Dentistry, will chair the 25th Anniversary of the annual Valley Forge Dental Conference, to be held at the Valley Forge Convention Center, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on March 2, 3 and 4, 2011.
The Conference is sponsored by the Second District Valley Forge Dental Association (VFDA)
and over the last 25 years has grown to become the premier dental meeting for continuing education not only in Pennsylvania, but throughout the entire tri-state area. The theme for this year's conference is "Celebrate, Discover and Grow Your Practice."
The conference features educational sessions with nationally recognized speakers, exhibits of dental products and services, and a Seaside Celebration on Thursday evening, March 2, featuring a recreated boardwalk by the sea, capped off with a recognition ceremony. Dr. Bernie Dishler and Dr. Jeffrey Sameroff will receive the Second District Annual Awards; and special recognition will be awarded to Drs. Ronald Gross, Jerrold Axler and Richard Galeone, the Founding Fathers of the VFDC, Dr. George "Rusty" Bullock , Doylestown Orthodontist, who will be honored as President of the Second District Dental Association as well as all past VFDC General Chairs and SD Presidents.
Dr. Stone, who has served as Scientific Program Chair for the Valley Forge Dental Conference in 2005, welcomes the opportunity to chair this landmark event. "Continuing education is very important in the dental field, states Stone. "Even in this down economy, our members, visiting dentists and students recognize the need to keep abreast of the latest scientific findings. With this being the 25th year, we have also thrown in some fun and recognition of those who have worked so hard to keep this conference a vital contributor to the profession."
