Dr. Kevin Harris, a global technology leader with 25+ years of experience, has been named NexGen IOT Solutions’ new Chief Information Officer responsible for the company’s technology organization.

He will also join the company’s Advisory Committee and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Dr. Kevin Harris has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology field with industry positions ranging from Systems Analyst to Chief Information Officer. His career encompasses diverse experiences in industry and academia. During this time, he developed cross-functional teams implementing solutions to effectively address business challenges through innovation and security. As a faculty member, he has delivered instruction in several disciplines including business, cybersecurity, computer science, and computer networking, with a particular interest in information security and computer forensics.

He is passionate about implementing ways to bridge the digital divide, especially among underserved populations. His consulting and research areas include minorities/women in technology, cyberbullying prevention, information security, and business consultation/training.
