As noted by the ED Medical Director at Iredell, "Dr. Bolden has worked with us since 2006. In that short time, he has turned into one of our most well rounded clinicians...single handedly helping to smooth (hurdles) for all of his partners. He has consistently worked more hours than his maximum to help the group out when short. He filled in for providers away from his core site time and again. All this was done without a complaint."
Jason Bolden earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine in 1998. He did a one-year internal medicine internship followed by his emergency medicine residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. He worked as an attending physician in Washington, DC, before moving to Charlotte to work with Emergency Medicine Physicians at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Bolden resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and children. He states, "One of my favorite things to do is travel with my family. Not only do we try to annually visit our family which is spread throughout four states, but we love traveling and exploring all areas of the country. I also really enjoy cooking in my spare time and enjoy mountain biking, gardening, and swimming with my girls. I love watching baseball (favorite team is the Minnesota Twins) - I believe I have been to at least one game every year of my life."
Emergency Medicine Physicians congratulates Dr. Jason Bolden for achieving this prestigious and well-deserved award, Physician of the Year at Iredell Memorial Hospital ED.
