Dr. Energy Saver Cleveland Fills Food Baskets for Local Families Through City Mission
Dr. Energy Saver Cleveland is working with the City Mission to provide a holiday meal for families in need this season. This is a part of the "Energy Elves Are Coming To Town" campaign to bring hope and cheer to those in need.
- (1888PressRelease) November 25, 2011 - Twinsburg, OH - Dr. Energy SaverŪ Cleveland is accepting and donating various food items to help the City Mission provide holiday meals for families in need.
Dr. Energy Saver Cleveland's owner, Mike Rusk, and employees will be donating food items that are on the "grocery list" as well as hosting a collection center at their facility.
"It's a great way to give back to the community & those in need this holiday season," said Rusk.
The grocery list includes non-perishable items such as stuffing, instant potatoes, canned vegetables, canned soup, and other similar products.
Collections for the grocery list items will take place at 8287 Darrow Road, Twinsburg Ohio 44087 between 9 a.m. -5 p.m. from Monday through Friday, November 14 through 29. There is also an option to Feed a Family for $35 by making a check payable to The City Mission or donating online.
The City Mission has provided a warm bed, a meal and other basic needs to the less fortunate in Cleveland for over 100 years. Originally providing programs such as Bible classes, Sunday school for all ages, assistance for the homeless, food baskets for the hungry, a prison ministry and various clubs and activities for local resident the Mission has not changed much over the years.
