Dr Batra's appoints new Managing Director and a new CEO
Appointments meant to further professionalize and propel Dr Batra's Group towards achieving new milestones in Homeopathy.
- (1888PressRelease) July 11, 2012 - Dr Akshay Batra has been appointed the Managing Director (MD) and Mr Hari Nair the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic Pvt. Ltd. to help the organization scale new heights of professional and patient-care glory.
A fourth-generation doctor and third-generation homeopath, Dr Akshay Batra began his career at Dr Batra's in 2001 as a trainee doctor and has since been scaling great heights every year. Previously, he has also served in various other capacities such as CEO, Executive Director, and Deputy Managing Director at Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic, acting as a key business driver in the organization. Dr Akshay Batra played an instrumental role in setting up Dr Batra's B Perfect Pvt. Ltd. - a daycare aesthetic centre.
Dr Akshay's proficiency in Trichology - the scientific study of the hair and scalp - has imparted greater credibility to the Trichological Department providing hair treatment at Dr Batra's. Among numerous achievements, he is India's first Trichologist from The Trichological Society of London. He is also the youngest, first-ever non-UK-based Trichologist to receive the prestigious Robert Olding Award for outstanding achievement and personal endeavor in Trichology.
Elaborating on the appointment, Dr Mukesh Batra, Chairman, Dr Batra's Positive Health Clinic, said: "I'm sure Dr Akshay Batra will fulfill his duties with sincerity and responsibility, while safeguarding the trust and reputation that Dr Batra's has garnered over the years amongst our patients and staff alike. Mr Hari Nair, an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, who had earlier worked with Tata Steel, H & R Johnson, and Marico, joined Dr Batra's as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Products division. He then moved across looking after the other businesses at Dr Batra's, creating a professional structure within the group companies. In his new role as a CEO, it will be his endeavour to scale up the business to new heights, through organic and inorganic growth measures.
