Downtown Seattle Association Rolls Out New Additions to Parks and Public Spaces

Custom-made book racks enhance urban park in Seattle thanks to DSA. End Quote

Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) September 04, 2014 - Committed to the enhancement of their city, the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) continues to make additions and improvements all over downtown to meet their mission to "champion a healthy, vibrant urban core." After seeing custom-made book carts in a another city's park, DSA contacted Mecca Design and Production, a scenic element and services design/build group in Dallas, Texas, to build a couple for them. The mobile book racks measure approximately 5' x 5' x 5' in size, and the a-frame style racks are perfect for little and big park visitors alike. Enhancing the urban environment, DSA is adding one book rack for children's books and one for adults with news and periodicals.
