Local Salon, Spa & Boutique Will Host A Handbag Trunk Show Focused On The Style And Needs Of Today's Business Professional.

Uvo Luxury owner Gigi Karmous-Edwards co-designed one of the brand's most popular handbags in both style and functionality, The Lisa, with Lisa Vanderpump. A Bravo TV reality star on the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Vanderpump is a successful entrepreneur, designer and author of "Simply Divine: A Guide to Easy, Elegant, and Affordable Entertaining." The trunk show will include cocktails, light hors d'oeuvres and 10 percent off any Uvo Luxury handbag that is purchased during the event.
Karmous-Edwards crafted the Uvo Luxury handbags specifically for the executive woman. She earned a B.S. degree in chemical engineering and an M.A. degree in electrical engineering from N.C. State University. With more than 20 years of research science and engineering experience, she has focused much of her attention on the advancement of fiber optic communications, most recently at MCNC, an independent nonprofit organization that employs advanced technologies and systems to help sectors of the community better communicate with their constituents. Her background in engineering and research plays a key component in the design process of the Uvo handbags.
