Donald Trumpish? A new App let's you call out friends that are politically incorrect or too politically "correct!"
"SpeakEasy Sports" is the name of a new App aimed at injecting fun into conversations between friends. Aiming to reduce tensions in 2016 America, the App promises to add wit, humor and fun to the sports bar experience.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2016 - Patron asks server: What's your coworker's name?
Server: The biker chick?
Patron (while laughing): "Penalty Flag!" as he opens the App on his phone, finds the server in the App and issues the flag while other users agree and laugh or join the 'scolding' of the server for being "politically incorrect." Or was he? Great opportunity to laugh and learn non-confrontationally.
2016 America has been tense, unorthodox, unpredictable, nerve-racking at times, and the year's still not over. A new App hitting the market March 2017 called "SpeakEasy Sports" is angling to break up the tension. www.facebook.com/speakeasysport
The creator, an accountant, sports fan, TV producer, and former college professor out of Brooklyn, thinks the App will be a big hit for sports bars. "Sports bars that become SPEAKEASY SPOTS, we're betting, will draw incremental patrons who can mingle with others while having fun testing wits, culture and ways of looking at things," says Abraham Doe. "You laughed at my football team?!" Penalty Flag! Now you can't chat with us in the room for 30 seconds, of course, unless the call is overruled. It'll be fun.
The App is intended to be rated "E" for everyone and be fun and educational - not the opposite. So it's not an app for people that do not appreciate subtlety, wit, humor and willing to be wrong once in a while. "Penalty Flag!" Colin Kaepernick
In September 2016, Doe issued a penalty flag against the NFL quarterback who began kneeling during the national anthem. The video provides Doe's explanation for issuing the flag. https://youtu.be/hcN83FEBuvI "
That was a public rebuke. The act by the player, those following him, and the allowance of it by his employers bothers me. The App, however, is more about social interaction. However, the concept is the same. Someone says or does something you think could be improved, 'issue a flag!' The issuance of the flag CALLS ATTENTION to the item - in a fun way.
In later versions, we'll pick up on other major sports with fouls, penalty boxes, red cards and the like," he said. The App will be available to the public March 2017. But sports bars and future users can LOAD UP early on Penalty Flags during the Apps introduction phase in December 2016.
