After the success of dNg Colours of Eden's designs for the 2012 BAKU CITY CHALLENGE "ANGELS" 'uniforms', Nicole Nguyen has been chosen as the official designer for the 2013 DOHA CITY CHALLENGE.
- (1888PressRelease) November 08, 2012 - After the success of London based dNg Colours of Eden's designs for the BAKU CITY CHALLENGE "ANGELS" 'uniforms' for the the 2012 BAKU CITY CHALLENGE, Designer Nicole Nguyen has been chosen as the official designer for the DOHA CITY CHALLENGE angels uniform for 2013.
The BAKU 2012 collection was designed specifically for the BAKU City Challenge held in October and aimed to move away from the traditional Car Race hostess image - which often was nothing more than a t-shirt with hot pants or a tight fitting race suit at best!
The innovative, exciting and elegant Colours of Eden dresses were worn by the BAKU CITY CHALLENGE angels who welcomed and accompanied the race drivers to their respective cars before the race and who were on hand to present the trophies to the winners of the Challenge!
"The challenge" says designer Nicole Nguyen "was to radically change the 'stereotype' image of the traditional racing hostesses - and aimed to highlight their elegance and femininity , whilst also reflecting the mood, colours and modernity of the BAKU CITY CHALLENGE. This was achieved through the use of exquisite luxury silk fabrics, flowing designs and cuts as well as spectacular colour declinations."
