DJ Smallz Announces His Southern Smoke Female DJ Search
DJ Smallz, best known for his innovative and influential Southern Smoke and Fear Factor brands, has announced his "Southern Smoke Female DJ Search" kicking off on November 1, 2012.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) November 15, 2012 - As the Southern Smoke brand has reached heights that many other DJs will never achieve, DJ Smallz has decided to expand his brand once again, by doing something different and signing a hot female DJ with the talent, musical knowledge, drive, and desire to achieve new unimaginable heights in her career alongside the Southern Smoke name.
"It's no secret Nicki Minaj's accolades and endeavors in the past few years have sparked a huge resurgence in the growth of females within the hip hop community. As I look back and think about how few female DJs there are in hip hop, I decided to contribute to its growth by searching for one, adding her to the brand and doing my part to give those females interested in the art of djing a bigger avenue and platform by endorsing one of their own," says DJ Smallz.
All applicants must be female, must be 18 by midnight of November 30, 2012, and must have an overall fundamental understanding, love, and respect for the DJ culture. An ideal candidate will have an ear for a wide variety of music, most importantly hip hop, will embody a larger than life personality, and most importantly will embody the ability to rock a crowd anywhere in the world. After the Nov 30th deadline, three (3) semi-finalists will be flown to random events to open up and perform with DJ Smallz. On December 31, 2012, the winner will be announced at DJ Smallz New Year's Eve event.
