Growing up in the Baptist church also attributes to the soulful and bold musical style of this promising crooner. But it wasn't until he won the Homecoming talent show as an undergraduate at Florida A&M University that JaMiel knew he wanted to seriously pursue a career as a professional singer and he strongly believes in the value of hard work.
