This year's 25th Anniversary Marathon promises many exciting surprises and first-time events such as the half marathon, a six kilometer costume run and a run specifically for students. On Saturday, 9th October, the fun continues at the Costume Run as participants dress up in their national costume and run the 6 kilometers route before they get to enjoy a traditional Bavarian breakfast at the Event Arena. On Sunday, 10th October 2010, runners who are not prepared to run the full marathon can take part in the half marathon. Covering a large part of the marathon route, they would still be able to experience the same euphoria and sense of achievement as they finish the 21 kilometers route.
