Besides, a wide range of symposia delivered by experts and leading suppliers will expound smart grid trends and the latest solutions. For instance, "Flexible Distribution Full Architecture and Solution" and "From Flexible Distribution to Smart User" by Schneider Electric, "The Evolving Distribution Grid - Integrating Distributed Energy Resources and Distribution Transformer Asset Monitoring by Serveron Corporation, "Distributed Intelligence and Energy Storage Technology on Distribution System by S&C Electric, etc. They feature both experiential sharing and networking between industrial users and suppliers.
More are the "Fifth Power Quality Summit" and "Green Industrial Revolution - Energy Saving & Electric Power Automation Technology, and Automation Technology on Smart Grid" with inspiring presentations by specialists from China Electric Power Research Institute, Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company, East China Electric Power Design Institute, Shanghai East China Architectural Design & Research Institute, Shanghai Hydroelectric Engineering Society and much more.
As a must-attend event for the electric power industries, EP Shanghai / Electrical Shanghai 2011 has received invaluable support from different trade delegations organized by East China Electric Power Design Institute, Shanghai Electric Wire & Cable Industry Association, Haian Electric Corporation, Nantong Electric Corporation, Jiaxing Electric Corporation, Nanchang Electric Power Research Institute, China State Construction Engineering Company Shanghai Architecture Institute, etc. 10 overseas delegations from Asean Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC), Thai Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Association (TEMCA), Russia, India, Iran and Korea are ready to tap this unique trading and information exchange platform in China as well.
According to the research and development analysis by China Electricity Council, electric power industry will undergo a long term development during the 12th Five-year Plan period. In the coming 10 years the power production scale will reach 9.3 GW, with more than 9000 KW annual production and thus requires power generation equipment supply ability with 1.2 GW; with the production scale of 890 thousands kilometer long cable in 110 kV or above over the country and substation capacity of 48 GkV. All these precipitate China a huge market with worldwide attention. During this period, the Chinese government has announced the country's target for energy efficiency and carbon-emission control that the power industry would be more attentive to green energy technology and its applications, towards a new stage for nationwide interconnection, ultra-high voltage, smart grid, west-to-east power transmission, high efficient clean coal power generation, renewable energy, development and applications of energy conservation technology.
EP Shanghai / Electrical Shanghai 2011 is jointly organized by China Electricity Council and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, co-organized by Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Industry Association, East China Grid Company Limited, SGCC and Shanghai Municipal Electric Power Company, SGCC, with extensive support from major power group corporations and power grid corporations of China. Since 1986, EP China / EP Shanghai have become the only electric power exhibition in China endorsed as UFI Approved Event, and the most influential power exhibition that witnesses the critical development of electric power industry in China from low to high technological advancement, and from solely import to import/export market orientation. It has been the most famous international electric power exhibition of China.
EP China / EP Shanghai will continue to serve as an important information and technological exchange platform for the whole industry. The next exhibition will be held from September 26 - 28, 2012. To cope with the market demand and industrial development, specialized themes zone will be further developed in an expanded exhibiting area of eight halls at China International Exhibition Center, Beijing, PR China.
