What really differentiates this program from the run of the mill training programs is that, it is not a collection of superficial formulae and flow charts presented through a powerpoint, but it is a language, a science, based on deep understanding of psychology and brain functions. It familiarizes us with the root causes of various human behaviors, so that we can control and modify them to bring about a positive change and achieve desired results.
After learning the payoffs of playing a 'Blame Game' and consequences of being trapped by our perceptions and assumptions, all the participants were quite focussed on the objectives today. Had always heard about 'Experiential Learning', but today in reality experienced it. We had a detailed review process, wherein each participant had to deliver a part of the module we attended yesterday. It was a great learning opportunity for me, as I got to present amongst a group of seasoned trainers, and also see and experience other training styles. I got some really valid, educated and well articulated feedback on not only my style of presentation but also the style and method of content delivery. Concepts, that had remained just that till today, were suddenly an innate part of us all. Suddenly, none of us were faking it anymore. Clarity! Not necessarily on the entire subject matter, for which one lifetime doesn't seem enough, but rather on our objectives.
We also got started with understanding The Colored Brain Communication and the Colored Brain Communication Inventory (CBCI). Having taken the CBCI, I can now reveal to all that I have a Blue Brain! No, we haven't been spraying each other with green or any other color paint! It is a psychometric analysis tool designed by Arthur F. Carmazzi to understand the way your brain physically and genetically processes the world around you. I was amazed how accurate and insightful the test is. I would recommend everyone to take the free test online, and have their worlds truly opened up to them. All this in conjunction with understanding the different color brains, and how each of them processes the world around them was truly a mind opener. It not only facilitates your success, your organization's success, but can also help you create a wonderful relationship with your spouse. After long hours of discussions, arguments and brainstorming sessions, through which Arthur Carmazzi ever so deftly and patiently guided us, we emerged! Our world forever changed!
