Digital Signage Screens Help Improve The Visibility Of Cotswold Canals Trust
Promoting the progress of a restoration project, or any charitable cause, can be a challenge but with the aid of digital signage screens Cotswold Canals Trust has done just that.
- (1888PressRelease) April 07, 2011 - AllSee Technologies recently announced that one of their digital signage screens has been implemented by the charitable organisation, Cotswold Canals Trust. The main aim of the trust is to elevate public awareness of the restoration and reopening of the Cotswold Canals. To do this they required a means of informing, entertaining and educating visitors on the restoration process, in a clear and engaging way.
The solution was to install a 32" digital signage screen in the conference room, which had to have a built in media player, full HD display, include a free wall mounting option and be easy to update using a plug and play method. AllSee are proud to support charitable and educational organisations and were able to accommodate Cotswold Canals Trust with the hardware they required at a reduced price.
The content they needed to display included a 20 minute montage of photos featuring stages of the restoration process with a map in the bottom corner to show where on the route the photo was taken. Clive Field, Visitor Centre Manager, conveyed his delight with the multiple areas of success from using the digital signage screen,
"The installation of the digital signage screen promoted more discussion with both staff and visitors which in turn presented more membership recruitment opportunities."
As well as being impressed with the high quality output of the digital signage screens and their ability to both inform and engage, the organisation was also pleasantly surprised with the high level of service provided by AllSee, from initial enquiry and application advice all the way up to after sales technical support.
With the advantages offered by digital signage screens and the ever decreasing costs of LCD displays it is no surprise that more diverse sectors such as charities are making the most of this opportunity for effective public messaging.
