Digital LCR-meter Expands Availability in China with New Distributor
Siborg Systems Inc's Smart Tweezers LCR-meter has gained a distribution partner with GoldTek in Suzhou, China.

Smart Tweezers [http://www.smarttweezers.ca] are a handy tool designed specifically for testing and troubleshooting Surface Mount Technology. SMT is becoming an industry standard for creating electronics, this technology uses tiny components, known as Surface Mount Devices (SMDs). These small components are generally hard to test using conventional bench-type testers whether they are already mounted or loose. Some of these components are also unlabeled, creating issues while setting up to test the components.
Siborg has revolutionized these problems with their Smart Tweezers device. Without any setting up, a touch of the tweezer tips to a component automatically identifies the component, and then tests for Inductance (L), Capacitance (C), and Resistance (R) accordingly. The newest model offers component sorting, designated Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) measurements, offset-subtraction, and continuity and diode testing, with a basic accuracy of 0.2%, an estimated 6 times higher than previous models.
