- (1888PressRelease) October 30, 2012 - NEW DELHI - In continuation with the philosophy of being the first and to be a leader, Delhi International Airport (P) Limited (DIAL), the operator of the countries busiest and the second best airport in world in its category announces the launch of "GMR DELHI AIRPORT" application on Windows 8 platform in collaboration with Microsoft.
Windows 8 is said to be a game changer in computing. DIAL which proved to be a game changer in India's aviation sector with its world's second best airport wants to catch the whiff of fresh air expected from the Windows 8.
This is good news for all the people who intend to fly to Delhi, Delhi Airport passengers and Windows 8 users. The application has hosts of utility features such as real-time flight information, live weather information, access to all passengers' facilities available at the airport. This application can be downloaded at absolutely free of cost from Windows Store website.

It is pertinent to note that recently, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has got ISO 20000 certification for eliminating and controlling IT related threats on its IT service management system making it the sixth airport in the world to get the certification.
