DeWAR Electrical Contractors Division has been awarded the contract to refit and upgrade the Stanford Apartment complex.
- (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2010 - DeWAR Electrical Contractors Division has been awarded the contract to refit and upgrade the Electrical Communal Lighting, Underground Carpark Lighting, Proximity Lighting Solutions and Emergency Lighting at the Stanford Apartment complex off Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14.
The contract consists of energy saving solutions to reduce the electrical energy consumption up to 30 - 40% per annum. The project will use the most advanced lighting fixtures currently available. The Dewar Electrician will be on site for two to three weeks, in which time he will replace the underground car park lighting with LED style tube, similar to fluorescent tubes only in length. Operating at a fraction of the costs, these units will be fitted with proximity sensors to help safe consumption.
The communal areas will be fitted with proximity sensors complete with photo electric cells to only operate after dark also helping to reduce electrical consumption 10 fold.
