- (1888PressRelease) November 04, 2012 - Deux Voiliers Publishing will attend this year's Ottawa Authors & Artisans Fair on December 2. The fair will be hosted by the Jack Purcell Centre (320 Jack Purcell Lane) near the intersection of Elgin Street and Gilmour. The OAAF is Ottawa's largest book fair and Canada's largest event for emerging authors. More than forty Ottawa-based authors will attend.
The DVP booth at the fair will feature the work of five emerging Canadian authors:
Stephen Lorne Bennett - Last of the Ninth, a mystery novel from Second Century Rome
Brendan Ray - Marching to Byzantium, an epic tale of the conquest of Constantinople in 1453.
Chris Turner - Tales of Other Worlds - a delightful medley of sci-fi and fantasy short stories
Paul Duong - Bidong - an authentic story of the life journey of two brothers who flee Vietnam to find new lives in Canada
Con Cú - Soldier, Lily, Peace and Pearls - an endearing tale of human resilience over coming adversity
DVP authors will be present to talk about and sign their books. DVP is also interested in speaking to new contributors - authors, graphic designers, video artists, copy editors and publicists.
