DesignFacilitator Receives Patent
DesignFacilitator announces that they have been issued U.S. Patent No. 8,195,501 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
- (1888PressRelease) July 20, 2012 - Raleigh, N.C. - DesignFacilitator, the leading provider of client feedback solutions for the A/E industry, announces today that their tool, developed for collecting and incorporating client feedback, has been issued U.S. Patent No. 8,195,501 from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
With only 15% of software tools awarded patent protection in the US, President Mike Phillips AIA, notes, "We are very pleased to have been granted ours, particularly in the first round."
The patent covers the Dynamic Interactive Survey System and Method, a system which provides effective feedback management tools designed especially for project-based service providers. The Client Feedback Tool's center-weighted sliding answer scale, real-time distributed alerts, and documented follow-up process are each addressed within.

Patents grant property rights for an invention, prohibiting anyone else from making, using or selling that invention nationwide, allowing patent-holders' complete control over how their inventions are used.
