Designer Nora Sahraoui Presents at New York Fashion Week

(1888PressRelease) September 17, 2012 - Designer Nora Sahraoui presented her latest collection of over 50 fashion forward designs at New York Fashion week. Sahraoui, currently based in Dubai, was in New York participating in events targeting the fashion industry buyers and reps, movie and television stars, and the press.

"For me, Paris, Milan, and New York are the heart and soul of the fashion industry and places where I've always wanted to make a name for myself and my brand Xela Fashion. To participate in New York Fashion Week has always been a dream for me" stated Sahraoui. The Collection is now available to fashion forward women on line and in select stores.

Sahraoui participated in events targeting celebrities as the Luxury Gift and Styling Lounge hosted by GBK at the exclusive Empire Hotel. She presented her latest creations to celebrities and fashion icons including Former New York Governor, David Patterson, Miss Universe, Leila Lopes, Dallas Mavericks and HD Net Owner, Marc Cuban, television host, Damon John, Sherrie Sheppard, America's Next Top Model Winner, Jeselene Gonzalez among others In addition, Sahraoui was interviewed for a segment on New York Fashion Week for the American television shows, 20/20, and VH1, and for the Latino Television Network, Univision. Sahraoui presented a piece from her latest collection to each celebrity and major news outlets.

The 2013 Collection consists of four lines: Robe Cocktail, Pret a Porter, Arabic Dress, and her newest effort, the Resort Collection. Sahraoui was able to provide select celebrities with couture dresses made for the red carpet. Others such as Miss Universe received a piece from her Cote Azure line of dazzling resort wear. Ramierez, star of X Men, Sopranos, and other blockbusters loved her "Skirt Top" made of deep turquoise fabric with handmade beading. She is looking forward to wearing it at her next casual outing. Countess LuAnn de Lesseps of the Real House Wives of New York was also presented with an exclusive piece from the Cote de Azure Line, she chose a rich purple with paisley caftan with hand placed stones, embroidery and beading.
