Design Studio 15 Holds Grand Opening for New Winter Park Design Studio & Furniture Gallery
Design Studio 15 is opening its new Winter Park office with a grand opening celebration on July 26 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The grand opening will include vendor showcases, custom built furniture, as well as a silent auction and ribbon cutting ceremony.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) July 21, 2012 - Design Studio 15, a professional interior design firm specializing in residential homes, corporate spaces, furniture packages and green design, will mark the opening of its new Winter Park office with a grand opening celebration on July 26 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Located in the historic Hannibal Square, the new office houses the firm's primary design offices, as well as an interactive furniture and design gallery.
"We are excited to open our new space to the Central Florida community," said Shanna Bender, owner of Design Studio 15. "We've built out our showroom to create a warm environment for our clients to feel comfortable in, as well as hand-selected unique furniture, fabrics, wallpaper and lighting. It's definitely worthwhile just to stop in say hello and take a look."
Shanna Bender started Design Studio 15 as a one-person operation in 2006. Since then, she has grown the business to include a staff of seven designers, in-house real estate agent Nicholas Russo, and a business relationship manager to meet all the needs of her clients. The company now has more than 400 clients worldwide and provides everything from luxury designs for private high-end clients to helping budget-conscious customers find a single piece of furniture or choose the right room color.
The new office space is itself a work of art. Design Studio 15 is the only showroom in Central Florida for Christopher Guy, an internationally-known furniture designer. Two signature six-foot tall chairs sit in the entranceway, along with a contemporary 12' mirror. His handmade collections can only be found in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and Winter Park. Furniture can also be seen in TV shows like Keeping up with the Kardashians and on the E! network.
"This new office allows us to have a showroom of creative and inspiring pieces," said Bender. "We are also now able to give our clients a boutique design studio experience. If they want to come in to purchase one of our signature pieces or sit down for a complete home redesign consultation - we can do that."
The grand opening celebration will include a vendor showcase with works from local artist Danielle Nagel and custom-built furniture pieces from Blair Sligar, owner of the Orlando design/wood shop Hog Eat Hog. A silent auction will be held throughout the evening with prizes, such as a design consultation with Bender, and art.
There will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:00 p.m.
