New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 17, 2010 - At a gala cocktail press event scheduled to be held at Bamboo 52 (344 West 52nd St.) next Wednesday, Dec. 23 from 6pm to 7pm, the producers of television's nationally known Latino-flavored entertainment news program Desde New York [From New York] will introduce the media to Alex Hermoso, the program's new co-host.

A popular favorite with Latino viewers in multiple markets across the country who have access to the Dish Network, Desde has featured Martha Jiminez, an extremely vivacious and attractive personality, as the show's hostess. "We knew we'd need someone with comparable talents to match her interviewing and reporting abilities," says one of the show's producers. "Alex Hermoso, with his background in acting, producing, and hosting comparable programs, is the perfect match."

Venezuelan by birth, the affable performer - "Just call me Alex," he says, flashing a model's grin - appeared in such films as "The Final Chord" and on television in "Las Comadres con Gloria B." He has studied at the New Film Academy and the Hollywood Pop Academy.

"Desde New York has had excellent ratings and great audience reaction since it went on the satellite two years ago," says Alex Hermoso.
