Denver Audi Dealer, McDonald Audi, Teams Up With Primal/MapMyRide To Create New Women's Racing Team
McDonald Audi has just announced that they will be sponsoring the formation of a new women's cycling team for 2012.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) November 29, 2011 - Denver area Audi dealership, McDonald Audi, has had a long-standing relationship with Primal Racing but this year they have decided to take it one step further by creating the McDonald Audi Primal Racing Team.
The Primal/MapMyRide Professional Women's Racing facilitates a way for cyclists to race professionally and provides a much needed resource for female cyclists. Their goal is not only to win the races they participate in, but also to gain experience and compete at their highest level and provide this level of competition to women everywhere.
The cycling team will consist of women throughout Colorado who will be participating in numerous regional and national events throughout the year. Additionally, the team will participate in several of the major charity races taking place in Colorado.
The team enjoyed tremendous success in the 2011 racing season with many fabulous results including winning titles in State and even a World championship. The team hopes to reach many more goals in the 2012 season by winning a National Calendar Stage Race GC, place in the top three NRC teams, and win the USA Cycling Super Week for the forth year in a row. Additionally, they plan to volunteer 100 hours of community service throughout Colorado.
McDonald Audi is excited to partner with Primal/MapMyRide Professional Women's Racing to create the McDonald Audi Primal Racing Team and looks forward to an eventful year for this talented group of women.
