The album has also been shipped to Triple A and Americana radio format stations nationally through Artist Airplay Advisors of Monterey and Al Moss Promotions of Nashville.
Denny Brown records his own songs accompanied by an extended family of major musical innovators, including guitarist David Grissom (John Mellencamp, Storyville), keyboardist Booker T. Jones (The MG's), drummer/producer Erik Nielsen (Pointer Sisters, Queen Ida), and engineers Bill Halverson and Tom Flye. The ten tracks contained in this album, Denny Brown: The San Francisco/Austin/Hollywood Sessions, are compiled together for the first time from those incredible indie recordings.

Denny Brown was 16-years old when he first appeared in his home town of Detroit at the Chessmate on a night when John Lee Hooker headlined. By the time he was 20, Denny was the house opener at the Gaslight in NYC on shows with Muddy Waters, Jack Elliot, Howling Wolf, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee, Doc Watson, Jesse Fuller, Bukka White, Bonnie Raitt, Kris Kristofferson, and many others. Also in NYC, Denny Brown opened for The Youngbloods and John Hammond in concert. He thanks Doc Watson, Rev. Gary Davis, and Dave Van Ronk for their help.
Brown's indie label Avenue Communications has retained the services of David Bean at BeanBag1 Entertainment and subsidiary Artist Airplay Advisors, led by VP of Promotion J. P.
