Delta Dore offers wireless heating-control technology to UK homes
Delta Dore, a specialist in smart, reliable and eco-friendly heating-control technology, has developed a new range of wireless thermostats under the TYBOX brand, which are now available in the UK through H&V Controls, the French company's British distributor. Delta Dore will be showcasing its advanced heating-control technology at the PHEX trade show in London on 8-9 December 2010.
- (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2010 - Delta Dore is a French company with 40 years' expertise on the heating-control market in France, Germany and Spain, and is a recognised specialist in wireless thermostats that can be controlled remotely. The company launched its range of controls on the British market on the occasion of the PHEX trade show in Manchester, which took place in mid-October (13-14 October 2010).
Delta Dore will be showcasing its technology in the UK again, at the PHEX trade show in London, to be held at Chelsea Football Club in early December of this year (8-9 December, Stand No69).
The French company's heating-control technology is now distributed across Britain by H&V Controls, which is headquartered in England. The TYBOX devices are manufactured in Brittany (in western France) by Delta Dore, whose research and production teams are experts in wireless technology.
The TYBOX programmable thermostats are designed to accurately programme and regulate the heating systems of residential properties. Indeed, the TYBOX provides high-quality time-and-temperature control in order to adjust the use of the heating in the home according to the householder's lifestyle.
As a result, the range developed by Delta Dore ensures that energy for home heating is used more effectively, which generates tangible savings for the occupier, while representing an environmentally significant advance in heating technology. User-friendly and easy to install, Delta Dore's TYBOX devices also feature a modern and discreet design.
An efficient heating-control system needs to be accurate; must be used on an ongoing basis; and, finally, has to be easy to use. For this reason, the TYBOX has been designed with innovative ergonomics to help end-users make their heating more efficient in an easy way. Moreover, all thermostats are available in hard-wired or wireless versions, which results in improved installation options as far as contractors and engineers are concerned.
The TYBOX programmable thermostats offer a range of specific and concrete benefits to home users. For a start, the control-and-programming functions allow for savings on heating bills of 10% to 25%. While the design of the TYBOX range is elegant, the screens displaying the key data are large and easy to read. Various extra features have been added: for example, the time-and-temperature settings can be overridden in special circumstances without having to change the existing programme.
The backlit thermostats allow for the daily or weekly programming of a heating appliance on the basis of chrono-proportional (PI) control, with a control range of 5° C to 35° C. The TYBOX range offers seven operational modes and lockable settings. Additional features include an anti-seizing function in order to protect the circulator pump and Volt-free contacts.
Among other versions, the TYBOX range includes the TYBOX 713, which is battery-powered; the TYBOX 714, which is mains-powered; and the TYBOX 811, which is wireless. The wireless version comes with accessories, such as the Delta Dore's Wireless Outdoor Sensor and the TYPHONE 5 SV GSM, which is a wireless GSM telephone unit for the remote control of the home's heating system (fitted with voice-synthesis technology).
As heating accounts for more than 60% of energy consumption in the home, installing and using the right heating-control system is one of the major issues for end-users and engineers. Contractors, installers, tenants, landlords - everyone is looking for an efficient and easy way to control the heating of residential properties and to make savings, while complying with increasingly stringent and detailed regulations.
With the TYBOX range, Delta Dore is making advanced and eco-friendly heating technology available to British end-users at an affordable cost - and it comes with enhanced wireless functionalities and remote-control features.

About Delta Dore
Delta Dore of France has 40 years' experience in heating systems and wireless technology.
The company is based in Bonnemain, in Brittany (western France), where the TYBOX devices are manufactured. [The name of the TYBOX range is a combination of the Breton word for 'house' ('Ty') and the English word, 'Box'. Welsh speakers will notice that the word for 'house' is the same in Welsh as it is in Breton, since these two Celtic languages share the same roots.]
Delta Dore's clients, over the years, have included leading European manufacturers of boilers and heat pumps, including British companies, since the French company has been adept at integrating its advanced technology into end-user and industrial heating systems.
Delta Dore is currently expanding its commercial presence across Northern Europe. The company already operates in France, Germany and Spain, and is now present in the UK through its partner, H&V Controls.
Delta Dore will be showcasing its technology in the UK, at the next PHEX trade show (Stand No69), to be held at Chelsea Football Club (in London) on 8-9 December 2010.
