Deliver National Competency Safety Training for the Construction / Offshore Industry
KBA Training Centre has expanded its training portfolio to deliver a series of National standards (M.O.M. Singapore) approved safety training courses.
- (1888PressRelease) August 07, 2013 - KBA Training Centre (KBAT) is one of the Ministry of Manpower's Singapore training providers accredited to deliver a series of safety training. KBAT have been developing a National / Industry wide training portfolio and had showcased their approved courses in BuildTech ASIA 2013 from the 31 July - 2 Aug 2013, held at Singapore Expo - Hall 4, Booth GG06.
KBA Group has been in the industry for more than a decade, providing consultancy and Internationally accredited Health, Safety & Environmental training such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IRATA and CIEH. With an increasing emphasis on safety awareness within Singapore and the increasing demands by associates, government bodies and corporations regarding delivering safety training, KBAT has decided to leverage its knowledge and broaden its training portfolio to include local National standards.
They started off delivering the MOM Occupational First Aid Course in the last quarter of Year 2012 with regular scheduled classes as well as contract-based bespoke programme for organisations such as Keppel Shipyard. KBAT has since expanded its services and MOM approved courses to consist of Risk Management training, Compressed Air Works (Man-Lock Attendant), Rigger & Signalman, Enhanced Construction Safety Orientation Course for Workers and Work-At-Height Course for Workers / Supervisors / Managers. A majority of the courses are approved for Skills Development Fund (SDF) training grant; some with Absentee Payroll but are all subject to Workforce Development Agency (WDA)'s approval.
KBAT's Lead Trainer / Safety Consultant for MOM courses and consultancy service is a MOM approved WSH Auditor, Risk Management Consultant and MOM trainer under the Approved Training Provider scheme, Workplace Safety and Health Officer, Environment Control Officer, Fire Safety Manager and Confined Space Assessor.

Having a team of competent HSE trainers with the qualifications and expertise, KBAT will soon be delivering more MOM approved services and courses to serve the local organisations; with Compressed Air Works Course (Medical-Lock Attendant) and Commercial Diving in the pipeline.
