Britannic Technologies' Annual Convergence Summit took place at Wembley Stadium's Bobby Moore Suite on November 15th 2012. With 9 successful years under its belt it has cemented its reputation for bringing together industry experts and business leaders from across the UK.
- (1888PressRelease) November 23, 2012 - Around 300 delegates attended Britannic Technologies' Annual Convergence Summit with the opportunity to listen to thought leaders on the development of the industry, and interact with the technology first hand, gaining an invaluable experience with the view of improving their business function. Notable guests included Sir Terence Matthews, founder and Chairman of Mitel and Wesley Clover and directors from highly successful organisations across the UK ranging from local government, housing and education to professional services, finance and manufacturing industries.
The summit reviewed today's rapidly evolving communications marketplace focussing on cloud services, virtualisation, centralisation and Next Generation Networks. Key themes delivered from top industry minds from Avaya, Microsoft, Cisco, Mitel, Polycom and Britannic themselves, centred around the idea of an ever increasingly connected world incorporating social media and an increasingly mobile workforce, and offered some insight into how best to deal with the rising challenges to businesses.
