Delcam tastes success at Hermle Open House
Delcam continued its close relationship with Hermle at the Open House held recently at the company’s headquarters in Gosheim.
- (1888PressRelease) June 29, 2012 - The history of unusual demonstrations continued this year with the production of a mould for replica "maultasche”.
Maultasche are a traditional dish in the Baden-Wurttemberg region consisting of a pasta dough with a filling of minced meat, onions and herbs and spices. They are similar to Italian ravioli but are usually larger and are served in a clear vegetable soup rather than a sauce.
The design for the mould was created in Delcam’s PowerSHAPE CAD software and the toolpaths generated in the PowerMILL CAM system for high-speed and five-axis machining. The mould was cut on a Hermle C 30 U five-axis machine.
