Delcam Polska opens second office in Katowice
Delcam’s subsidiary in Poland, Delcam Polska, has opened a second office in Katowice to support further growth in sales of the company’s CADCAM software in the country.
- (1888PressRelease) September 11, 2012 - Sales so far this year are up by 23% over 2011, continuing the success seen since the subsidiary was established with an office in Warsaw in 2010.
The manager of the Katowice office, Adam Rogaliński, explained the reasons for the expansion. "Katowice is the capital of the Silesia region, one of the most industrialised areas of Poland,” he said. In addition, many of our industry partners have offices in the city, including Mazak, KUKA, Askla, Oberon 3D, Iscar, Sandvik and Schunk. We launched the new office with a joint seminar with Mazak, Iscar and Schunk.”
"The main benefit of the new office will be the closer contact it will give us with our growing number of customers in the region,” added Mr. Rogaliński. "We have a conference room for up to 16 people, where we plan to offer monthly training courses for our customers to help them gain the maximum benefit from using our software.”
Currently, the Katowice office has four staff but Mr. Rogaliński is already looking to add more people following a positive response from local customers.
