Delcam has strengthened its USA sales team with the appointment of Arthur Schmidt as Sales Manager for the FeatureCAM feature-based CAM system in Michigan and northern Ohio. Mr. Schmidt is a well-known and highly respected veteran of the CADCAM industry with more than 25 years’ experience in selling manufacturing and architectural software.
- (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2012 - After spending the opening five years of his career designing circuit boards for the Hammond Organ Company, Mr. Schmidt entered the CADCAM industry in 1979 as a trainer for CADDS 4X software with ComputerVision Corporation. The appointment comes at a time of rapid growth in the popularity of Delcam’s software in North America, with sales up by 22% in the region over the opening six months of the year. "We are already on the way to another record year and are expecting a further boost to our level of enquiries at IMTS in September,” predicted Mr. Cadogan. "Arthur’s appointment will allow us to help more companies that want to increase their productivity and profitability with our software.”
