Mrs. Fields Cookies founder to share her unexpected journey to become the CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation.
Get Your Voice On Will Empower and Inspire Women Globally and Locally To Make A Difference!
New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 26, 2012 - Debbi Fields, founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies, will be a keynote speaker at the Get Your Voice On: A Celebration of Women conference scheduled at the New York Hilton in March 2013.
Fields, at age 20, wanted to open a chocolate chip cookie bakeshop and store. Twenty-plus years later, she had expanded her role from managing one store to more than 600+ stores and franchisees in the U.S. and 10 foreign countries. Fields had managed to do what others called "impossible."
An obviously fitting keynote speaker for the Get Your Voice On: A Celebration of Women event, Fields will tell how she made it against all odds with just her passion and her first secret recipe. She will also share about the daunting challenges she encountered while her company grew to a $250 million enterprise.
The Get Your Voice On: A Celebration of Women event will celebrate success stories such as Fields' to encourage, inspire and empower women who attend the event to expand their vision of what they, too, can achieve.
The ground-breaking event will be held in midtown Manhattan at the New York Hilton March 1 and 2 to kick off Women's History Month and allow the gathering of women to create powerful relationships, find and raise their voices to make a difference, locally and globally, collaborate on ideas, businesses and causes, and serve as an incubator for women to imagine, develop and realize their own visions.
Get Your Voice On: A Celebration of Women is co-founded by two successful New York women, Michele Mattia and Jennifer S.
