Dean Morstad continues his campaign in Iowa
Dean Morstad campaigns in Iowa for the 2012 Presidential elections.
- (1888PressRelease) January 13, 2012 - St. Paul - Dean Morstad visited Iowa the weekend of January 7 and 8. Voters responded favorably to Dean Morstad's platform and his status as a Washington outsider. Members of his campaign also collected one-fifth of the signatures needed to list him on the Iowa ballot this coming November.
The warm January weekend brought out many people in Des Moines and Iowa City. Dean Morstad and his team visited several businesses and events around town. The citizens of Iowa were generally enthusiastic about meeting the new Presidential candidate, especially on the heels of an intense caucus season.
Among the voters in Iowa that Dean spoke with, a common view is that politicians today serve only special interests and no longer serve the people. Many Iowans thanked Dean for running and offering them a new and fresh choice this election year. And even more were excited about Dean's platform of lowering spending, limited Federal government, lower taxes and greater personal freedoms.
Dean will be returning to the Des Moines area during the extended weekend of January 13-16. During this visit he will continue to campaign at various events around the metro area.
