DealMarket and CapitalOnStage announce cooperation to enable start-ups to more efficiently get access to seed and venture capital
One month after the successful launch of DealMarketSTORE, a platform offering access to industry-leading third-party private equity services on demand, DealMarket announced a close cooperation with CapitalOnStage to foster entrepreneurship and enable start-ups to more efficiently get access to seed and venture capital.
- (1888PressRelease) November 09, 2012 - ZURICH - DealMarket is a platform for managing venture capital deals online, while CapitalOnStage is a unique podium for sourcing venture capital deals offline. CapitalOnStage is an unconventional and invitation-only conference where leading Venture Capitalists & Angel Investors pitch themselves to highly promising start-ups - instead of the reverse. Together, DealMarket and CapitalOnStage leverage both the online and offline presence for the good of both entrepreneurs and investors, enabling the start-up industry that drives innovation and generates new jobs.
CapitalOnStage uses DealMarket's unique online deal flow management tool OFFICE to increase visibility of the start-ups' ideas and investment opportunities. At the same time, DealMarket's online platform enables investors to get better and unfiltered access to the investment opportunities and provides start-ups with awareness and visibility within the large CapitalOnStage investors circle. Additionally, start-ups can publish their investment deal to DealMarket's public platform with more than 35,000 users globally.
"I was looking for a partner who could really deliver on its promise to run an online marketplace for VC and PE deals professionally. With our long-term partnership we are able to offer our combined clients the opportunity to source and manage deals in one place. I strongly believe that the virtual fosters the physical - now and in the future." Arjen Strijker, founder & CEO of CapitalOnStage, commented.
After successful events in Amsterdam and London, the next CapitalOnStage will take place in New York on November 9th on the 26th floor of the New York Times building. Besides DealMarket, Silicon Valley Bank, Goodwin Procter, and KPMG sponsor the event. Starting 2013, DealMarket and CapitalOnStage will cover Europe with more funding events in Berlin and London in May and June.
"DealMarket steps from the virtual world into the real world. With this cooperation we are consistently pursuing our vision to build an ecosystem for investors and capital seekers to provide better, simpler and more transparent access to capital and investment opportunities around the world." said Urs Haeusler, CEO DealMarket.
