David Alan Grier to Deliver Talk on New Book at Computer History Museum
IEEE Computer Society 2013 President David Alan Grier will be reading and signing copies of his new essay collection, The Company We Keep, at the Computer History Museum at noon on 29 January.

Grier is associate professor of International Science and Technology Policy at George Washington University and the author of When Computers Were Human and Too Soon to Tell.
His latest book, an outgrowth of columns he wrote for Computer magazine, examines how digital technology affects communities, connecting individuals more closely to the centers of political, economic, social, and cultural power.
