Dave Roach Racing Announces New Partnership
Columbus, Ohio based drag racing team of Dave Roach Racing Enterprises announces a new partnership with "Backpack Snack Attack."
- Columbus, OH (1888PressRelease) August 17, 2012 - This is an outreach program of the non-profit organization of Warwick Reformed Church in Warwick, NY. Started in 2009, they provide food on weekends and in the summer to needs based children within the Warwick, Florida, and Greenwood Lake Public School Districts. As of Spring 2012, the "Backpack Snack Attack" program is feeding nearly 200 children. That equates to 6,984 bags of food per school year.
Members of the Dave Roach Racing Team discovered this incredible program and are excited to lend their support. "The children of today are the future of tomorrow, we want to lend our assistance and our voice to draw attention to their monumental effort" says Dave Roach. The Dave Roach racing team plans to work with their fans and support network to inform the general public about the program and promote it at every track where they race. Incorporating the help of such organizations as the N.H.R.A. and the team's sponsors, race event coordinators, other race teams, crew members, families and friends will enable the team to get the word out about this amazing organization.
The race team is in a position to accept non-perishable, non-refrigerated food items along with backpacks, school supplies plus any monetary contributions. Donations can be dropped off at the race shop, in the pit area at every race track and at every personal appearance that the team makes. All donations will be forwarded to Shirley Puett, the Executive Director of the "Backpack Snack Pack" program.
