- Vero Beach, FL (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2013 - Dasie Bridgewater Hope Center (Dasie Hope), a 501c3 non-profit organization in Wabasso, Florida, will be holding its annual event, "An Evening of Hope" to benefit children of the 2013 - 2014 school year. Like years prior, the event will be entertaining to all attendees and those involved by offering a full dinner, silent auction, a performance by Dasie's Dancing Diamonds and a presentation by keynote speaker and nationally acclaimed New Jersey Doctor and Author, Dr. Sampson Davis.
Just in time for the approaching winter season, An Evening of Hope will be held on November 16th, 2013 at the Pointe West Ballroom in Vero Beach. The event runs from 5:30 pm through 9:00 pm with a dinner scheduled at 6:30.
An Evening of Hope is the largest and most anticipated event organized by Dasie Hope. Growing from two students in 2001 to over seventy-five in the current school year, the proceeds from events such as An Evening of Hope are imperative to the success of the programs provided by Dasie Hope. "Our mission has been to change the future for a group of children whose lives, without effective intervention, could spell the difference between a life of productivity and one behind bars," says Sheriff Daryl Loar, who serves as Board Chairman of the organization.
Located in Wabasso, Florida, the Dasie Bridgewater Hope Center offers an array of educational and socio-cultural activities aimed at benefiting the children of the Wabasso Community. Moving on a slow but steady course, Dasie Hope has witnessed its youth achieve and excel though programs such as Scholarship of Hope, Girls with a Future Club, Circle of Brothers, Dasie Bakers, Young Professional Business Leadership club and through involvement in the center's new internet radio station, WDCH.
