(1888PressRelease) July 07, 2015 - Guests this week on Darren & Brose are legendary rocker Brian Mannix, Blair McDonough (Winners & Losers, Neighbours), Kevin Harrington (Cliffy, The Dish, SeaChange), Helpmann and Green Room Award nominee Christie Whelan-Browne (Wonderland, Shane Warne: The Musical) and comedian Tim Smith (Comedy Company, Discover Downunder).

From writing, producing and performing team Darren Chau and Brose Avard, Darren & Brose is a local, half-hour late-night comedy show, combining sketches, celebrity interviews, music and games.

Last week's premiere of Darren & Brose featured Julia Morris, Denise Drysdale, Stefan Dennis, David Reyne, Dave O'Neil, Lawrence Leung and Mike Brady, and was well received by viewers.

TV Tonight wrote: "Darren Chau is bright and confident as the anchor and displays a genuine love of television … here's hoping Darren and Brose get an invite to the Logies next year."

Brose Avard said: "Late-night talk shows are an institution in the US. The Tonight Show has been going for 61 years. Letterman's entire run hosting the Late Show on CBS is how long it has been since we have had our own. Tonight Live with Steve Vizard finished the same year he started."

Darren and Brose met at university, have performed sell-out seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, hosted one of the highest rating shows on Channel 31 and were selected as a finalist for Network Ten's "Eleven out of Ten" pitching competition at SPAA, beating out thousands of submissions nationwide.

Brose Avard is a successful TV warm-up performer. He has starred in several national advertising campaigns and his comedy acting credits include Prank Patrol and Kath & Kim.
