Danjo-San & The Mr. Miagi Experience to compete in Emergenza at the Substage in Germany
Epic Hip Hop Band Danjo-San and Mr. Miagi Experience will compete in the Emergenza Rock Festival at Germany's Substage on July 6, 2013.
- (1888PressRelease) June 12, 2013 - Emergenza is the world's most renowned rock festival for up and coming, unsigned rock bands. They have been making rock dreams come true since 1992. There are elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year, whereby the bands that advance are selected by the audiences that hear them. Professional judges choose the winners at regional and final concerts. During the past few years Emergenza music festival has helped many bands by getting them signed or by taking them on the road.
Danjo-San & The Mr. Miagi Experience is an eight-member hip hop band that has elements of rock, funk, soul and jazz combined. They were formed in 2009. In October of 2009 they emerged to shake up the German hip hop scene. They consist of drums, bass, two guitars, trumpet, piano and saxophone. The band consists of; Danjo-San (Daniel Henrich) on vocals, Mr. Miagi (Florian Schindler) on vocals, Huckleberry Tim (Tim Kosack) on drums and beat, Britta (Markus Ziesch) on guitar, Pimpf of Persia (Stefan Suchoroschenko) on guitar, Tingeltangel Buschi - (Simon Fischer) on bass, King Artur (Artur Simon) on trumpet, Barack "Jo" Bama (Johannes Vogt) on Saxophone and piano.
In 2011 the band took first place in the " Rhein Neckar Contest 2011" making them one of the most talented newcomer bands in the Southwest.
On July 6, 2013 they will rock the Substage in hopes of moving on in the Emergenza Rock Festival and representing Germany in the International finals. The international finals are held in Germany on August 11, 2013 at the Taubertal open Air Festival. The winner is crowned "The Best Band in the World."
