Dance Academy Of Stuart's Inspirational Evening With Dr. Juli Goldstein A Success!

- Port St. Lucie-Fort Pierce, FL (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2014 - Stuart, FL - It was an intimate evening of encouragement, education and empowerment for over 50 company and competition dancers at the Dance Academy of Stuart and several parents who attended the Inspirational conference "Live What Matters!", featuring keynote speaker Dr. Juli Goldstein, most recently known for her role in "The Dolphin Tale 2".
I am proud to be a part of this important discussion regarding the state of our youths today," said Dr. Goldstein. "As research indicates, we all have some unfinished business when it comes to the current and future states of our youths. It's important to engage all local communities in ways in which we can provide youths the support they need while building their courage and confidence."
The exclusive event is the first of what will become a yearly series of educational, motivational workshops aimed at encouraging self esteem, growth, leadership and positive relationships for the dancers at the Dance Academy of Stuart. "The presentation inspired me and helped me realize that no one is perfect and no one is better than the other and that we are all beautiful," says Taylor Anderson, member of the Senior Dance Company at the Dance Academy of Stuart.
"We would like to thank all of the participants and Dr. Goldstein for helping make this event a huge success," says Alicia Chodera, owner of Dance Academy of Stuart. "It is our hope that those who attended this event are better equipped to embrace life, pursue their dreams and make an impact on the world around them."
Attendees spent the evening participating in interactive skits and activities in which Dr. Goldstein was able to help share her insights, information, advice and resources. Topics ranged from self-esteem, healthy body image and bullying to social media, social action and managing relationships with family and friends.
"The Dance Academy of Stuart is committed to providing a foundation for continued achievement for women, girls and youths of all ages" said Chodera. "Addressing key concerns that affect their lives and offering solutions and support is one way we can empower girls on their personal paths to becoming strong, self-confident and successful."
The conference's keynote speaker, Dr. Juli Goldstein delivered impactful and encouraging messages to young attendees and their parents.
"Through an inspiring day of education and sharing, along with powerful messages delivered by the keynote speaker, attendees came away with a greater awareness of the positive changes they can make in their lives and of their own potential" added Chodera.
