Dalton Financial, an independent asset and wealth management firm in Tokyo, have decided to revamp their offices in order to reduce the firm's carbon footprint.
(1888PressRelease) February 10, 2016 - The firm have decided to turn a new leaf at the start of this year and transform their offices, making them much more eco-friendly. Having a more positive effect on the environment we all live in can only benefit us all, the firm believes, and the rollout of this latest campaign shows the firm's intentions.
"Being more environmentally friendly is of utmost importance to us all here at Dalton Financial, and this latest scheme will make a huge impact on our carbon footprint. We are installing all new equipment in the building, from electrical equipment, to solar panels and doors and windows with better insulation," said Alexander Eriksen, Senior Portfolio Manager at Dalton. "As well as all of the improvements to the building itself, we are encouraging all our team members to join the movement with a number of tips to help them be more environmentally friendly themselves."
Mr Eriksen continued, "Instead of driving to work, we are asking those that can to walk or cycle to the offices, or use public transport. Also, we encourage them to have plants in their office to produce more oxygen, and are offering tips on how to reduce waste. We at Dalton are sure that we can help to reduce the carbon footprint we produce, and are doing our part, no matter how small, to protect the planet for our future generations."
