Dalton Financial Hold Charity Event

(1888PressRelease) December 15, 2015 - The adopted charity for Dalton Financial's office in Tokyo, Japan, Shine On! Kids Foundation is a long established local children's charity, with a mission to identify underprivileged children in Tokyo and the rest of Japan, to help change their lives for the better through development, education, participation and protection programs.

Whilst at the event, a number of Dalton Financial's staff attended a function arranged by the charity, named Skating Fun Day. Shine On! Kids Foundation, along with a number of volunteers, took a group of underprivileged children to spend the day skating around local parklands, enjoying the weather, and generally having a great time.

As well as activities for the children there was a charity auction, where all the auction lots were donated by the public and affiliates of the charity, with Dalton's contribution an all-expenses paid weekend at The Peninsula Tokyo. The package included 3-nights in a Deluxe Suite, evening meals at any one of the hotel's seven acclaimed restaurants, and a chauffeur service. The auction was won by Daniel Weatherly, whose winning bid of JPY 1,152,600 (US$9,535), will be put towards the charity's day-to-day operations, as well as future events for the benefit of the children.

During the visit to the Shine On! Kids Foundation, Dalton Financial's team of volunteers presented the charity with a cheque for US$25,000, which was contributed by the firm's clients, board members, and employees alike.
