Dallas Observer Online Breaks New Look At Warp Drive Researcher

Jenny Block, of the Dallas Observer, posted an unique look at the latest activities of proto-warp drive inventer, Marshall Barnes in the paper's online edition. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) August 11, 2011 - The Dallas Observer's web site posted an article penned by Jenny Block that featured a new look at Marshall Barnes and his invention, the STDTS. Under the title, "Scotty, Warp Drive Is Real. Seriously.", the article features a photo of the inventor and some of the first discussion regarding some of the physical problems regarding faster than light travel. There are also a number of humorous remarks regarding Stephen Hawking, the use of a DeLorean for a STDTS test, and his sponsorship deal with Greyhound.

Another unique insight is his extensive bio which includes far more information than ever published in an article before. The formatting of the article clipped some of the words, but a commenter found a link to a web site where the full bio appears. It reveals a lengthy background in creativity and technology going back to when Marshall was a teenager and selected by David Rockefeller Jr. to represent the best example of what the arts in schools could do in the state of Ohio. There's a link to a web site with a letter from Rockefeller to prove it.

The Dallas Observer article also mentions an audio documentary that's in the works about the STDTS and the warp drive subject. Entitled Verzerrung Reise: Distortion Travel and the STDTS, it will feature a number of scientists and researchers with various links to the warp drive subject.
