Ms. Cruz, who previously served in the Child Support Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office, practiced at McCurley Orsinger from 2008 to 2012 focusing on all areas of Family Law. She has a special interest in cases involving children's issues, working with clients in matters involving custody and support disputes. As a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Dallas, her practice is also open to the use of mediation and collaborative law options.

Ms. Cruz serves on the State Bar of Texas District 1 Grievance Committee and has been named four times to the Texas Rising Stars list of the state's leading young attorneys. She is a 2005 graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law and participated in the Study Abroad Program, attending the University of Guanajuato's Summer Law Institute in 2003. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech in 1999.
